Poppy Hill Vet is the realization of a long-held dream. It started when I worked at a remarkable, small, and independent, practice in Canada. When I returned to work in the States, it saddened me to see small, independently-owned practices being sold to big corporations and the impact this had on care. I saw the frustration among both pet owners and staff due to these changes, and it inspired me to make a positive impact in my own community in Berkley/Huntington Woods.
So, I decided to create Poppy Hill Vet—a small, locally owned veterinary practice that focuses on personalized care and attention. Our goal is to provide a welcoming place where clients, pets, and staff are valued and exceptionally well-cared for, fostering lasting connections within our community.
